Designer-inspired Pakistani dresses, explained

What designer-inspired means, how our pieces are made in our own production house, what to check on a listing before you pay, and how ordering, stitching and delivery work when you buy from us.

What “designer-inspired” means

A designer-inspired dress takes its inspiration from a Pakistani designer’s look — the silhouette, the colour story, the style and placement of the embroidery — and is then designed and made by someone else, in their own name. It is inspired by the original, not a copy of it.

That is what Premium Pakistani Dresses does. We choose the designer looks our customers love, interpret them in our own production house in Lahore, and make every piece ourselves to a premium standard. We say so on every product page, in our product disclosure and in our search listings.

What you get from us

Inspired, not copied
Each piece starts from a designer look we admire and becomes our own design: the silhouette, colour story and feel of the embroidery, interpreted by our own team.
Made in our own production house
We cut, embroider, stitch and finish every designer-inspired piece ourselves in Lahore, under our own name, instead of buying it in from somewhere else.
Premium fabrics, named honestly
Organza, raw silk, chiffon, net, velvet, tissue or lawn — the fabric of every piece is stated on the listing, so you know exactly what you are paying for.
Embroidery described as it was made
Handwork, machine embroidery and applied embellishment are each named for what they are, and the work is secured and inspected before dispatch.
No designer labels or branding
Our dresses never carry a designer’s labels, logos, tags or packaging, and we never present them as originals.

What to check before you buy

The fabric is named for every piece
Shirt, trouser and dupatta should each have a stated fabric — organza, raw silk, chiffon, net, velvet, tissue, lawn. A listing that only says “premium fabric” is hiding something.
The embroidery is described as it was made
Hand-guided adda work, machine embroidery, tilla, dabka, zari, sequins, stones and beads are different things with different costs. The listing should say which ones are on the garment and where.
Every included piece is itemised
Two dresses can look alike in a photograph and differ by a dupatta, an inner slip or an embellished trouser. Read the included-pieces list before you compare prices.
You know what the photographs show
Some listings show the designer look that inspired the piece. Our dress follows that overall look but is our own make, so read the fabric and embroidery details, and ask us for photographs of the finished piece if you want to see the actual work before dispatch.
The seller is open about what it sells
A trustworthy store says plainly that its pieces are designer-inspired — on every product, in its policies and in its search listings — and never uses a designer’s labels, logos or packaging. If a seller implies the piece is an original, walk away.

How ours are made

Each piece is drafted to a pattern, cut so that borders and motifs fall where they should, embroidered on the flat panel before assembly, then joined, lined, finished and inspected against a written standard — all in our own production house. The full process is described on our Our Story page, and the fabric, techniques and included pieces are stated on every product page so you know exactly what you are buying.

Ordering, stitching and delivery

  • Dresses are offered unstitched — the fabric and embroidered panels — or stitched, in a standard size from XS to XL or to your own measurements, as shown on each product page. See the custom stitching and size guide pages.
  • Standard delivery is free across Pakistan and worldwide on every order. Standard delivery is free to every destination and arrives in 7–14 working days after dispatch.
  • Express delivery arrives within 2–5 working days after dispatch. It costs a fixed US$50 per article, converted to your currency at checkout.
  • We do not accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind on unstitched, standard stitched or custom stitched dresses. Faulty, damaged or incorrect orders receive a full refund after return, inspection and verification. See our refund policy.

Originals and inspiration: the honest position

Our garments are designer-inspired and made independently by Premium Pakistani Dresses. They are not manufactured, endorsed or authorized by any designer, and we do not use designer labels, logos or packaging. The designer’s name on a listing tells you which look inspired the piece; it does not make the garment an original from that house. Read the full product disclosure before ordering.

Common questions

What is a designer-inspired Pakistani dress?
It is a dress inspired by a Pakistani designer’s look rather than copied from it. It takes the mood of the design — the silhouette, colour story and style of embroidery — and is made independently, in another maker’s own name, in the fabrics its listing names. It is not an original from the designer.
Is a designer-inspired dress the same as an original designer dress?
No. Our designer-inspired dresses are made independently in our own production house in Lahore. They are not manufactured, endorsed or authorized by any designer, and we never use a designer’s labels, logos or packaging.
Is a designer-inspired dress a copy of the original?
No. A designer-inspired piece is our own interpretation of a look we admire. It captures the overall feel of the design, but it is cut, embroidered and finished by our own team, so details such as fabric, embroidery, embellishment and finishing can differ from the designer’s piece.
How much does a designer-inspired Pakistani dress cost?
Prices depend on fabric, embroidery density and method, the number of pieces and whether stitching is added. Our Pakistani dress price guide shows the current range from the live catalogue.
Can a designer-inspired dress be stitched to my measurements?
Yes. A dress offered stitched can be made in a standard size from XS to XL or custom stitched to the measurements you submit. Each product page shows the options available for that piece.
