What changes the price?
A dress should not cost more merely because a famous name appears near it. Look at the garment itself: the fabric, how the embroidery was made, how much of it is worked, the number of pieces supplied, and the finishing. Those are the details that affect both the labour and the result.
- Fabric
- Lawn and lighter chiffons generally use less structure than velvet, raw silk, layered organza or a lined net gown. Fabric quality, yardage and lining all matter.
- Embroidery and embellishment
- Dense threadwork, sequins, tilla, dabka, zari, stones and hand-guided adda work require different materials and labour. A heavily worked border also takes more finishing than a printed panel.
- Silhouette and included pieces
- A shirt with trouser fabric is not directly comparable with a lined gown, lehenga and embellished dupatta. Read the included-pieces list on the product page before comparing prices.
- Stitching
- The listed base price and the custom-stitching service are separate. Stitched orders are cut to the measurements you provide; there are no standard stitched sizes to choose from.
