Are your dresses original designer pieces?

Accepted Answer

No. Unless a product page explicitly says it is an authorized original, every dress is a master replica: a premium reproduction inspired by a Pakistani designer’s design and made independently by Premium Pakistani Dresses in our own atelier. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorized by any designer, and we never use a designer’s labels, logos or packaging.

What is a master replica?

In Pakistani fashion, a master replica is the highest grade of reproduction. It follows the reference design’s silhouette, colour and embroidery layout, is made in the fabric family the listing names, and is worked, finished and inspected to the standard described on our Our Story page. The term describes the quality of our garment; it is not a claim that the piece came from the original designer.

How close is a replica to the original design?

The cut, colour and placement of the embroidery are matched to the reference photographs. The fabric, embroidery techniques and included pieces are stated on every product page, so you can compare them to the original before ordering. Because each piece is embroidered and finished by hand, small variations in motif density, shade and finishing are normal.

Which designers do you make replicas of?

Our Shop by Designer page lists every fashion house whose designs currently inspire pieces in the catalogue, and each product page names the design it is inspired by. New references are added as the catalogue grows.

Question 5

How do you make sure the quality is right?

Accepted Answer

Every listing names the fabric in full, describes the embroidery as it was actually made, and itemises every piece in the set. Before dispatch each garment is checked against our finishing standard: seams and hems closed, embroidery secured, linings attached, fastenings working, threads trimmed, and measurements re-checked on made-to-measure pieces.

Do I need an account to place an order?

Accepted Answer

No. You can check out as a guest with just an email address. An account is useful if you order more than once: it saves your addresses and your measurement sets, and keeps every order in one place.

Question 7

How do I know my order went through?

Accepted Answer

You receive an order confirmation email as soon as the order is created, with your order number. Payment confirmation is a separate email, sent only once the payment provider has verified the payment — so if you have the first but not the second, the payment is still settling.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Accepted Answer

Contact us with your order number as soon as possible. While an order is still awaiting production we can usually amend measurements, the delivery address or cancel it outright. Once cutting has started on a made-to-measure piece, the cloth is committed and changes are no longer possible.

How do I track my order?

Accepted Answer

Use the Track Your Order page with your order number and the email address you ordered with. If you have an account, every order and its current status is in your account area. Tracking numbers appear there as soon as a parcel is dispatched.

I need an outfit for a specific date. Can you commit to it?

Accepted Answer

Tell us the date before you order. We will look at the production window for that specific piece and the delivery estimate for your address, and tell you honestly whether it is achievable. We would rather turn an order down than miss a wedding.

Do you take wholesale or bulk orders?

Accepted Answer

Send us the details through the contact form and choose the wholesale enquiry type. Include quantities, the pieces you are interested in and your timeline, and a person will reply with what is possible.

Question 12

What is the difference between unstitched and stitched?

Accepted Answer

Unstitched means the fabric pieces arrive uncut and ready for your own tailor. Stitched means our tailoring team prepares the outfit in XS, S, M, L or XL from the standard size chart, or to the measurements you submit when you choose Custom Stitched.

Question 13

What if I am between standard sizes?

Accepted Answer

Compare the finished-garment measurements in our size guide with an outfit that fits you well. If neither XS, S, M, L nor XL is suitable, choose Custom Stitched and provide your measurements and tailoring notes.

Question 14

Can a custom-stitched garment be altered later?

Accepted Answer

Not by us. The piece is cut to the measurements you submitted and cannot be let out or taken in afterwards. A local tailor may be able to make small adjustments on simple styles, but heavily embroidered seams and borders limit what anyone can safely change.

What if I am not confident taking my own measurements?

Accepted Answer

Have someone else measure you, follow the step-by-step instructions in our custom size guide, and send us the numbers before you order. We will tell you whether they look consistent.

Can I ask for changes to the style — neckline, sleeve length, hem?

Accepted Answer

Yes, within reason. The custom stitching form has an instructions field: be specific, for example "raise the front neckline by 5 cm" rather than "more covered". Changes that would cut through embroidery or alter the design of the panels are not always possible, and we will tell you before we start rather than after.

What exactly comes in an unstitched set?

Every piece is listed on the product page, along with the fabric supplied for each. Typically that is a shirt panel, a dupatta and trouser fabric, plus any lining or inner listed for that design. If a piece is not listed, it is not included.

Where do you ship?

We ship internationally, including to the USA, UK, Canada, Europe, the GCC and Australia. The full list of destinations we can currently deliver to is shown in the address form at checkout.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Accepted Answer

Total time is production time plus delivery time. Production is stated on each product page because it varies by piece; delivery estimates come from the shipping method you select at checkout. We do not quote a single blanket delivery time, because it would be wrong for most orders.

How much is delivery?

Accepted Answer

Standard delivery is free across Pakistan and worldwide on every order. Standard worldwide delivery is complimentary on every order. International product prices already include the applicable per-article market uplift. Express delivery is an optional paid upgrade. Pakistan keeps the original catalogue price. UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh add US$70 to each article; every other international destination adds US$100 to each article. No delivery fee or store tax is added at checkout unless you choose express delivery. Destination-country customs duty or import tax may still be collected separately by local authorities or the courier.

Can I get my order faster?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if it is being delivered outside Pakistan. Checkout offers standard delivery, which is free and arrives in 7–14 working days after dispatch, and express delivery, which arrives within 2–5 working days for US$50 on the first piece and US$30 for each additional piece in the same order, converted to your currency. Both estimates start at dispatch, so a made-to-measure piece still needs its production time first — express shortens the courier leg, not the stitching.

Do you deliver to India, and how does the parcel get there?

Yes. There is no direct courier service between Pakistan and India, so Indian orders are shipped through Dubai — Pakistan to Dubai, then Dubai to India — using our forwarding partner. India uses the standard US$100 per-article international price uplift and standard delivery is free at checkout. Because the parcel changes carrier in Dubai, tracking can pause for a few days mid-route, and Indian customs duty or import tax may still be collected locally.

Can I change my delivery address after ordering?

Accepted Answer

Contact us with your order number before the parcel is dispatched and we will update it. Once a parcel is with the courier we cannot redirect it, and an address correction made with the courier is between you and them.

Question 24

My tracking has not updated. What should I do?

Accepted Answer

International tracking often pauses for several days while a parcel moves between carriers or clears customs. If tracking has genuinely stalled, contact us with your order number and we will open an enquiry with the courier.

Will I have to pay customs duty or import tax?

Accepted Answer

Possibly. Import duty, VAT, GST and handling fees are set by the destination country, not by us, and they are charged on top of what you pay here unless checkout explicitly states otherwise. The courier normally collects them before delivery.

How much will the customs charge be?

Accepted Answer

We cannot tell you, and we will not guess. Rates depend on your country, the declared value and the garment classification. Your national customs authority publishes the rates — that is the only reliable source.

Can you declare the parcel as a gift or at a lower value?

Accepted Answer

No. We declare the actual value paid on every shipment. Under-declaring is customs fraud, it puts your parcel at risk of seizure, and it invalidates any claim if the parcel is lost.

What happens if I refuse to pay the customs charge?

Accepted Answer

The parcel is either returned to us or destroyed by customs, depending on the country. If it comes back to us we will refund the price of the goods, less the shipping we paid and any return charges. If it is destroyed there is nothing to refund.

Can I return an order?

Accepted Answer

Contact us within 7 calendar days after confirmed delivery. After delivery, refunds are available only for a defective piece or when we sent the wrong article. If you are not satisfied with the quality or have a size issue, we will exchange the article but will not issue a refund. Return conditions apply.

Question 30

My garment arrived faulty or damaged. What now?

Report visible defects within 7 calendar days after confirmed delivery with your order number and photographs of the problem, including the packaging if it was damaged in transit. A defective piece, transit damage, a wrong article or a garment cut to measurements different from those you submitted is eligible for a refund to the original payment method or an exchange. This does not reduce any longer right under applicable consumer law.

Can I exchange a stitched garment for another size?

Yes. Report the size issue within 7 calendar days after confirmed delivery and we will arrange an exchange after inspection, but we do not issue a refund for size concerns. If a custom garment was made to measurements different from those you submitted, that is our error and is also eligible for a refund.

Who pays for return shipping?

Accepted Answer

You pay return postage for a quality- or size-related exchange. We cover reasonable return postage when the piece is defective or we delivered the wrong article. Use a tracked service: until a parcel reaches us it is still your responsibility.

How long does a refund take?

Accepted Answer

Refunds are limited to verified defective pieces or wrong articles delivered by us. We inspect the returned item and issue an approved refund to the original payment method within 5 working days after it reaches us. Quality dissatisfaction and size issues are exchange-only.

What payment methods do you accept?

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Any additional method — such as bank transfer — appears at checkout only if it has been enabled for the store, so what you see at checkout is the complete list.

Is it safe to pay by card?

Accepted Answer

Your card details are entered on Stripe’s payment page and never touch our servers. We never see, handle or store a card number, and we cannot charge your card again without you starting a new payment.

What currency will I be charged in?

Accepted Answer

You are charged in the currency shown on the product and at checkout. If that is not your home currency, your bank converts it at their own rate and may add a foreign transaction fee — that fee is between you and your bank.

How do I use a discount code?

Accepted Answer

Enter it in the bag or at checkout and the discount is applied to your subtotal before shipping and tax. Codes can have a minimum spend, an expiry date or a usage limit; if one does not apply, the page will tell you why.

Can I wash an embroidered outfit at home?

Accepted Answer

We do not recommend it. Embroidered and embellished pieces should be dry cleaned by someone who has worked with beadwork before. Machine washing loosens embroidery, distorts the panel and can bleed colour across the garment.

There is a loose thread or a stone has come away. Is that a fault?

Accepted Answer

A small amount of movement is normal on hand-worked embroidery, and most pieces are made with a little extra thread and a few spare embellishments where the design allows. Never pull a loose thread — cut it flush. If several stones have come away, or a seam is open, that is a fault and we want to see photographs.

How should I store a heavily embroidered outfit?

Store it inside out in a breathable cotton or muslin cover, never sealed plastic. Hang light pieces on a padded hanger and fold heavy lehengas flat with acid-free tissue between the folds so the weight of the work does not stretch the fabric.

Is there anything I should do before the first wear?

Accepted Answer

Take it out of the packaging a few days early, hang it so the creases drop, and press it on the reverse through a cotton cloth with a warm — not hot — iron, avoiding the embroidery. Then try the whole outfit on, with the shoes you plan to wear, while there is still time to raise anything.
