Mehroob

A navy velvet shirt, embroidered across the left and right front panels and the back, over a lehenga that is the real point of the outfit: dyed crushed zari in several colours at once, so it shifts as it moves.

Embroidered borders run the front, back and sleeves with a separate sleeve patch, and an embroidered dupatta completes it. The contrast between the flat navy velvet above and the shot colour below is deliberate, and it photographs very well at a mehndi.
