Mehree

A winter three-piece in aubergine velvet. The front is built from two laser-cut embroidered panels — the pattern is cut out of the velvet itself rather than worked on top of it, which is what gives the shirt its raised, sculpted edge.

Embroidered borders finish the front, back and sleeves, and a chalk border runs above the hem. The laser-cut dupatta repeats the motif, and an embroidered Russian trouser completes the set. Velvet at this weight belongs to the winter wedding season.
