Orange Kameez and Trouser

A marigold orange kameez covered in heavy sequin embroidery and hand work, closed at the hem with a cut-work daman border rather than a solid one, so the edge is open and lace-like. The back carries its own sequin daman border and the sleeves are worked just as heavily, with cut-work borders of their own.

The dupatta is crimson against all that orange — sequin embroidered, with a two-sided pallu lace and a four-sided kiran lace — and the shamose trouser flares out to a bordered hem. Three pieces, pitched squarely at a mehndi.
