Orange Lehenga

A bridal-weight lehenga in orange net. The front and sleeves are covered in heavy addawork — the frame-stitched embroidery that gives a surface its density — and the skirt is embroidered in handwork across a full three and a half yards of sweep.

The dupatta is embroidered on all four sides with its own pallu and finished with handwork tassels at the edge. Orange at this weight is a mehndi or mayun outfit for someone in the family, not a guest.
